I wasn't going to blog today, but I have had such a fabulous time, I thought I would share it with those who understand.
I was given by a thoughtful, and equally crafty mum, a craft magazine as a new years gift, that had a freebie graphic 45 set with it (that was the reason it was bought). The set was 6x6 place in time, there were also chipboard to match, and I haven't touched them yet. So after a shopping trip on Saturday, where I bought a calender, to cut up for the images to use on a tutorial, I was left with dates, and the basic construction of a desk calender.
So I embarked on making an any year calender, the dates are on magnetic sheet, so that I can move a washer over today's date, and I have been able to add ribbon, rub-ons, and random bits that I have been hoarding for years. Lots of those bits that you buy because they are sooooo lovely, and you husband says 'what are you going to use them for?', have been used, and it is better for the environment, because I won't need to buy one again.
Unless I need the picture for a project of course!
So here is what I made, enjoy.
