The long awaited Christmas Market was yesterday, and I have been working solidly for the past week creating goodies to be seen by the people of Egremont.
Although lots of people, stopped looked, oohed and ahhd, it was still difficult to get them to part with hard earned money, and I think it is a sign of the times that my note books and decorated hearts both priced around the £3 mark did best.
What is quite nice, is that now this is over and I have 2 more smaller market days before Christmas, I can concentrate on making my own home ready for Christmas, and creating some more artwork that reflects what I am interested in, rather than what I can sell locally to get my name known. Times are hard for the crafter, and I am interested to know if anybody else reading this has taken their things to a Christmas Fair, and what there experience was?
