Well, its been a few days since my last Blog, that is because I have been using all my info gathered from research, and I have designed 4 new mini scrapbooks, that require little cutting, measuring, or sticking for the main parts of the book. These will all be available via my mini books course, which will start as soon, as I successfully video them all. The videoing is not going as well as the designing, However I'll persevere and hopefully they will be viewable soon.
It was important to me that my mini books, required very little measuring etc, because from me the pleasure comes from folding paper, and adding all the embellishments. So I have tried very hard to ensure that for the most part this is what is required.
I'm writing this while waiting for the video recorder to charge up, just another issue with the recording process in a long line of minor issues, that have mucked up the recordings so far.
The other activity that has taken up a significant part of my week, and is yet half done, is the reorganisation of my craft space. Those of you who have watched my taster videos, will probably have been thinking, 'how does she create anything in that?' I actually have a substantial size room, but it was badly organised, so have bought some new storage ( I still need some shelves, and a small heater, its a little chilly in there) and I am about half way through organising my space. I have already acquired the full length of my craft desk as working space, instead of a 12x12 spot in the centre, and I have my inks, paints, misters and promarkers easy to access behind me. The amazing storage solution I have bought is a shoe cupboard with crates stacked on top, this means that I have some of my papers, guillotine, and small dies stored in a very narrow space.

As you can see, I have cut up a tube that was inside a fabric roll, to hold pens. I have also transferred my glitter to small jars that I have on top of these tubes, base facing out so that I can see the colour. the crates also, very conveniently hold the ice-cream tubes, from our very local, ice-cream shop. I like being able to see all the colours I have rather than rummaging around, and will be labelling the ends of my promarkers very soon.
I'll go now and see if the video camera is ready to play!
