The New Year is proving to be an exciting one, with some new possibilities on the horizon, I have been asked to talk/ demo at a group meeting in the next village North, and I am looking forward to starting my craft club on Tuesday evenings at the local Methodist Church.
So last night after being asked to do this talk, I started to wonder what people wanted to hear from me? I'm fairly sure that a group of retired ladies don't want to spend a Wednesday afternoon, listening to me tell them either my CV, or that I stick stuff on to paper, and attack sheep wool with a viscous looking needle, I'm not even sure they want to hear about the complexities of finding local electricians to set up my Pottery. So what?
I have to admit I have chickened out of the 'talk' and opted to have them make something and chat, answering any questions they might have as we go. This however poses one of those awful, finance issues. Finding something to make that looks good, and yet can be made for not much more than £5 for 50 people, that is 10p each!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I've found it. :-)
