I'm currently suffering from an excess of crafty ideas.
I'm part way through a jumper for my daughter, and obviously have about 6 altered art projects on the go, to be sold at fairs for Christmas. I also started a scarf yesterday for the Christmas Child box, and had a great idea for a Christmas prezie I can make my Husband (he'll start worrying when he reads this).
While mooching in my craft room this morning, wondering if I had a decent sewing pattern for a pair of trousers, I also remembered that I had a plan for a home made present for my mum, which I would now need to make before the trip to the NEC, as that's when we are swapping presents.

At this point I was hit, with overwhelming fear and panic, as I thought about the lack of time actually left to do all these fabulous things.
Then I remembered that I haven't started making my Christmas cards yet either!
How many things have I actually got to do? I've promised to help my husband create lovely things with his class, and to make them each a special prezie (I'll share this top tip nearer to Christmas), I have a selection of DIY projects that I need to finish, and lots of baking to be done. When am I supposed to fit it all in?
I have a friend on facebook that is complaining daily about shops having too many Christmas things up already, and that surely it's too early. I have to disagree, I need at least another 2 weeks, uninterrupted craft time, when I can hide myself away and create, without need for food, brews, or sleep.
Is it just women, that have this ridiculous Christmas to do list, or because we always do it, is it presumed that some how Christmas will just happen, complete with home made goodies, decorated tree, presents bought for the most obsqure relative and a stack of written and addressed cards, that hopefully make it to friends and family
