I have spent the weekend looking for materials, for the mini album course, that will be available soon, and looking at other crafter's videos showing how to make various mini books. I was confused while watching some of them, at the ability of some people, to make the construction of these albums much more complicated that is necessary. So I have slightly altered my original plan, and will be including one of these mini books in my online course, without the complications!
I have also had some fun, sticking bits together, making mini albums for instruction videos. Here are some pictures of a Valentine album, that have made, as part of a 'how to' , and to give to my daughters school, for a raffle prize. The how to will be available, in the demo section, when you tube has finished downloading.

I have also had issues this weekend, with my brain being on overdrive, I have had so many ideas for art work for our home, that it should keep me busy for the next 10 years. Out of these I have two main projects that I want to work on in the not too distant future, one is a large outdoor project and will have to wait for warmer weather, and has to come after getting electricity to my pottery.
The other is a much smaller piece of artwork, related to one of my favourite pieces of literature, and will be a piece visitors will be expected and aloud to touch and investigate. This led me to thinking,( late in bed last night, when my brain should have been switching off) that connecting stories to pieces of art, would be a fantastic way to connect children and parents, and to make the stories come alive. Its also a way to have me wound in a complicated way into children's art classes for a long time.
Don't forget to look at the how to video, and I'm still looking for your versions of the zigzag card for the competition.
