Finally I have started to feel as though things are starting to roll along again, with one small exception (i'll get there later)I have had my first workshop, it was very small but I feel that it was enjoyed. I am hoping for a little more uptake on this weeks workshop the steam punk photo cube.
I have full internet now not just to my office, but all over the house, which is great as we have lived here 3 years (nearly) and it has been more than a little patchy up to now, but all the family can use the internet where ever they are in the house. Most important to Qerky Crafts, I can blog, alter the website, add things to Etsy and upload Youtube videos from my workshop.
Now for the roof :-( my pottery roof, that was known to have a small drip, seams to have grown this feature, and now has a full on monsoon that lands on your creations when you leave them to dry turning them into a pile of mud!
So I may have too learn some basic roofing skills.
Ok so new stuff available, if you have had a peek at my freebies section you will have noticed that there are a range of buttons, most connect to short youtube videos giving free workshops, up until christmas (new year really) these are going to be mini albums you can make with one sheet of paper.
now the syndical of you will say thats easy it depends on the size of your paper. I am referring to a sheet of 12x12 scrapbooking paper, or a sheet of A4, there are small embellishments added (buttons, a little bit of ribbon), nothing to expensive or fancy. After Christmas I'm going to try and do a weekly 'craft project costing £1 or under' these will be all sorts of crafts using many different media.
After you have had a look at the freebies section, it's worth having a look at the products page,at the moment there are some pictures of mini albums with links to Etsy, but I will be adding some tutorials that can be purchased via Etsy, and possibly some yarn.
So have a good look around the site, I'm trying to add lots more so keep peeking back, here is a link to another youtube video this is a better look at some of my new albums.
