A little sad :-(

Unfortunately  I have had to cancel my Craft day at Gosforth Village hall.  This has made me quite sad as I was looking forward to meeting and working with lots of like minded people.

However, as often happens the has made me review the way I set up my courses, and some positive things may come of it.  We are looking into possibilities of a large studio next to my current potter, that would allow for lessons from home, and would allow my daughter to have a larger bedroom, as my current workroom can knock through to her bedroom.  Also I have been considering more intently the prospect of producing kits to sell alongside online courses, maybe as a monthly subscription?
Have any of you had  go at any of these things, and if so what would you regard as the pitfalls I need to watch out for?

How much would you be prepared to spend on a monthly course with kit attached?

I am hoping to get lots of replies here as I need to do some considered thinking, as I want any such project to be awesome.

I have been so busy recently, that I have been unable to add to my blog, however I have lots of things to sure with you.
I have been making and inventing some new mini books, two of which I will post video's of (when I find the video camera) and others I my add pictures, and follow up with an online tutorial.

So what does the tittle refer to?
I was mooching around on You tube, watching  a demo on using magnets and the creator of the book in question had built her book using envelopes. Thats it, just boring envelopes on a stack the deck binding, they can be any envelopes, so not country specific designs.  So I had a go at this for a prezie I was giving my husband (important Birthday), and it was great fun to make, the book sort of evolved and I was able to add flaps and pockets t will with very little forward thinking. It is defiantly a method I will use agin, and I will add  video peek at the book when the camera is located.

The other video will be of  travel journal I have created, that I am very proud of and  is actually  very special book in  box, it is the second time I have created one of these, and the other gets lots of ooh's and aah's t the craft fairs.

If you are local, you will be able to see the travel journal, and all the other goodies I am creating this week especially for Christmas.
